Vision:

To create best learning environment to prepare high quality, socially responsible, self and industry employable mechanical engineering professionals.

Mission:

M1: To offer theoretically and practically well balanced course and innovative teaching    learning process. 

M2. To prepare the student with strong fundamental knowledge and experimental, software and computational skills by sound academic practices through highly   qualified faculties and the state of the art infrastructural facilities.

M3. To develop linkages with industry for knowledge and resource sharing through internship program and organizing seminar/workshops

M4. To Inculcate in students the lifelong learning attitude, professional ethics and sensitivity towards society & environment

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs):

PEO1. To develop strong fundamental technical knowledge and core competency in diversified areas of mechanical engineering such as Design, Thermal, , Manufacturing , fluid science  and allied fields.

PEO2. To develop ability among students to conceptualize, design and develop new products, processes and provide solution to the real life problems related to mechanical engineering profession.

PEO3. To prepare students for utilization of latest engineering software, state-of-the-art experimental set up and develop computational capabilities to pursue research, higher education and entrepreneurship.

PEO4. To enhance effective communication, leadership, team building, problem solving and decision making skills in students for development of personality and career as a part of an engineering professional.

PEO5. To inculcate professional ethical values, sensitivity to environmental issues and life-long learning of engineering and technology for the benefit of Industry and Society.

Program Specific Objectives (PSOs):\

1. The students will be able to apply knowledge in the domain of Thermal and Fluid sciences to solve engineering problems utilizing advance engineering and technological tools to meet the needs of Industry and society at large.

2. The students will be able to design mechanical components and mechanisms using advance design, modeling and analysis softwares.

3. The students will be able to develop new ideas on product design with the help of modern CAD/CAM tools ensuring best manufacturing practices.
